Now CDR's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Crowley was formerly the
Assistant Treasurer for Hewlett Packard (HP). Since leaving HP 28
years ago, he has independently developed a wide variety of software
algorithms in the fields of non-linear mathematics, complex and
emergent computational systems, most of which employ genetic
principles as their foundation.
1969: Western-Electric Co, Omaha, NB. Completed the Executive
Management Training Program. Implemented novel manufacturing
techniques and developed optimized manufacturing of telephone wire.
1969-1976: Hewlett-Packard Co., Palo Alto, CA. Assistant Treasurer
and liaison to HP Labs. Developed an effective forward exchange
system as well as the majority of the algorithms for the HP80
calculator in 1973. Invented numerous patented numerical convergence
1976-2000: Wm. L. Crowley & Associates, Inc., Boise, ID.
Developed an advanced Artificial Intelligence model used in financial
analysis systems. Designed an early hybrid of various non-linear
methodologies into a self-organizing structural platform. Invented
several improvements for use in non-linear convergence systems with
genetic algorithms and simulated annealing specifically addressing
methods for improving rates of convergence of solution-based
population sets. Designed an improved method for the analysis and
utilization of emergent computational systems by employing novel
collective behavior and predictive agent principles. Developed
numerous digital rule based systems for use in analytical procedures.
